The National Community Action Partnership’s Map Room allows you to explore and map community-level data at the click of a button.

STEP ONE: Explore available map layers by entering a keyword in the search bar or by clicking the “Browse by Topic” or “Browse by Source” buttons. You can also browse “recently added layers” and “most used layers”. Click the check box next to one or more map layers to add them to your map.

STEP TWO: To hide the “Find Data” pane and view the full map, click the arrow at the upper-right corner of the pane. To view the legend for the map, click the “Legend” button.

STEP THREE: Zoom into your community by clicking the plus or minus buttons at the bottom right or by entering a location in the search bar.

STEP FOUR: Click the “Export” button on the left-side menu to download the map. Click the “Share” button on the left-side menu to share it as a link or via social media.
